The departmental association of the “Société Nationale d’Entraide des Médaillés Militaires” (The Indre branch of a larger veteran association) used one of conference room for its 2022 general assembly on Thursday, March 17th.

This association gathers Argenton-sur-Creuse, Chabris, Châteauroux-Déols, Issoudun, La Châtre, Le Blanc and Levroux local sections for a total of 260 members.

This meeting served as an opportunity for the section presidents to present their activity reports and discuss the possibility of a larger departmental meeting.

Unfortunately, the attendance was limited due to the COVID pandemic.

All the attendees were welcomed by “Les Amis de La Martinerie” president and by Michel Heu, who, after the reunion, gave them a tour of the “La maison Départementale de la Mémoire Militaire” showrooms.
