Saturday, June 4, former members of the 517th RT (train regiment) came, with their families, to make a "pilgrimage" to Châteauroux and paid a visit to “Les Amis de La Martinerie”.
Accompanied by Lt Colonel Frédéric DRAPEAU, former member of the 517th and current Departmental Military Delegate, welcomed by Bruno DUTEIL, vice-president of the association and also former member of the 517th, they were able to see the work done by the volunteers of the association and discover the place that will be dedicated to the memory of their regiment in the “Les Amis de La Martinerie” army room.
