Wednesday, May 25, Lt Colonel Frédéric Drapeau, Military Delegate for the Indre department, visited the premises of “La maison départementale de la mémoire militaire” on the La Martinerie site.

Former member of the 517th Train Regiment, regiment present on the La Martinerie site from 1998, date of the dissolution of the ESMAT, to 2012 date of its own dissolution.

Welcomed for this visit by the president of the association, Lt Colonel Drapeau was impressed by the work carried out by the volunteers and promised to help him in his search for documents and objects connected to the presence of the regiment in La Martinerie.
