The future teachers are back

As part of the "trinôme académique" (Education Nationale – Armée – IHEDN), the trainee teachers of the INSPE (Institut National Supérieur du Professorat et de l’Education) of the Indre department met, once more, at “Les Amis de La Martinerie”.

La Martinerie, the ideal place to meet the objectives of this “trinomen”, which are to "design activities contributing to the development of the culture of Defence"

Teaching Defence to teachers is part of the programs, as pointed out by Jean-Louis LAUBRY, history teacher and mentor of these future teachers.

After a presentation of the “trinome” by Paulette PICARD, president of the IHDEN Indre committee and by Jean-Louis LAUBRY, followed by a amazing presentation by General (2.s) Jean-Charles BOURRIER entitled "Back to our defence fundamentals" (Including topics such as: the French army and high-intensity combat, France and NATO, European defence, strategic and tactical nuclear power, the Geneva conventions and the law of war), the future teachers were divided into three groups to participate in three rotating workshops:

- the first, moderated by Lt Colonel Frédéric DRAPEAU, DMD, discussed the fact that Defense is not limited to military personal;
- the second, led by Laurent RENAUDET, professor of history, discussed the values of the Republic;
- the third, led by Bruno TAILLANDIER, IHEDN and the Mayor of Lucay le Male, discussed the definition of the word resilience.

With for all, organizers and future teachers, the feeling of a successful morning!
