Wishing to keep the flag of the “Amicale de l'Indre des Anciens de la Division Leclerc” in the best possible conditions, and to allow “les Amis de La Martinerie”, to exhibit it and explain its foundations to their visitors, especially to elementary and middle school students, Mr. Laurent Robin, president of the Châteauroux Métropole French Souvenir committee, contacted us about the entrustment of the flag to the association.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. The terms of this agreement give the president of the Châteauroux Métropole French Souvenir committee the possibility of using this flag whenever necessary, especially for all events related to the 2nd Armored Division.
