The association’s annual “garden party” was held on Saturday, August 28th, in the Saint-Août outdoor hall, thanks to Mr Lambilliotte, city Mayor and the Saint-Août city council.

Similar to what happened in 2020, about 50 members from Brest, Montauban, Muret, La Charité-sur-Loire, … shared a meal together; a meal specially prepared for the occasion by Martial and Roland, assisted by par Florence, Guillemette, Marie-Claude, Nicole and Gérard.

The only new thing this year, was the checking of people’s vaccination card in order to follow the new governmental regulations

The traditional petanque game between the “southerners” and the “northeners” took place and ended up to be, as usual, a fun event for the group.

The president took the opportunity offered by this gathering to thank all the volunteers for their active participation but also discuss the futur of the association and give news about some of the hospitalized members.
