A successful General Assembly!

Due to changes in the location, the dates, the extra precautions and limitations as a consequence of the pandemic, the organization of this event was a real obstacle course. First of all, thank you very much to Michel Lenglet, mayor of the city of Montierchaume, for providing the large room of the “foyer rural” for this event and thank you to Francine, the little fairy, who made it happen.

During the Extraordinary General Assembly, 64 participants along with 105 proxies voted for various changes in the association status. The main change being, the change of our association’s name, which becomes officially “"Les Amis de La Martinerie". The association’s website will be updated soon with the new status.

During the Ordinary General Assembly, a summary of our various activities along with the financial situation of our association were discussed.

Our members also uncovered our new video clip.

At the end of this assembly, Florence Petipez, one our adherent who is also the representative of Marc Fleuret, president of the departmental council, and the representative of Gil Avérous, president of “Châteauroux Métropole”, highlighted the impressive activity of our association and the quality of the work done by our volunteers.

Thank you to all of the members of the C.A. and to their spouses, who successfully organized these two assemblies and thank you to Philippe Lecomte for his work on the audio during the event.

It is worth noting that as of December 2021, our association has 439 contributing adherents.
