Continuing to make their exhibition on the barracks of the Indre department available, Les Amis de La Martinerie have set up shop at the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Cœur nursing home for dependent elderly people in Issoudun, a facility twinned with the one in La Chaume.
Welcomed by Mr. Pichon and Mr. Richard, Director and Deputy Director respectively, and by Noémie and Anne-Claire, the organizers, Dominique, Jean-Jacques, and Rémi, retrieved the panels previously installed at the La Chaume nursing home and installed them in the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Cœur nursing home. The operation was completed quickly.
The exhibition is now in place.
At the opening, Deputy Mayor Tony Ben Lahoucine represented the municipality of Issoudun, and Jean-Marc Jamet represented the Caisse d'Epargne Loire-Centre Foundation.
Gérard Génichon, President of the Le Magenta association and member of “Les Amis de La Martinerie”, was present on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 22nd, to answer residents' questions.
