The "Amis de La Martinerie" (Friends of La Martinerie) are pleased to support Ms. Solen Guérin, a fifth, and final-year student at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Normandie (Normandy School of Architecture), in the development of her final-year project.

Her work focuses on the concept of building with existing structures. It is precisely from this perspective that the La Martinerie site, specifically part of the northern zone, caught her attention; she views its history, built heritage, and potential for transformation as offering a particularly rich subject for study.
Pleasantly surprised by this request, we agreed to support her project.

After sharing the history of La Martinerie with her, we walked among the buildings in the northern zone. Upon our return, Ms. Seguin was able to examine some of the architectural plans entrusted to us by Ms. Barge, an architect based in Châteauroux.

A follow-up meeting will be scheduled for September to allow Ms. Guérin to continue working on her final-year project.
