Ms. Monique Barge, architect in Chateauroux, contacted us to donate part of her personal archives (maps, correspondence, etc.) kept in her office for many years. They are all about the La Martinerie base and the construction of various buildings during the American presence.

We still have to prepare an inventory, which has already begun, before making these files available to historians.

These files, kept in a secure cabinet, will soon be available for consultation only, at les Amis de La Martinerie.

Les Amis de La Martinerie warmly thank Ms. Monique Barge for her donation.
