Fewer participants due to some health problems of some of our members, and some cancellation due to the weather, but the 2024 edition of our garden party occured in an atmosphere of conviviality and friendship.

Although the rain put off a few people, the participants were able to enjoy, during the afternoon, a break of sunshine and a magnificent rainbow on the very beautiful Corlay site, made available to us by the president and members of the CA of the UNC of Châteauroux-Déols.

After the traditional aperitif, taken in the shelter, and after a few words of appreciation from the president of “Les Amis de La Martinerie” to the president of the UNC of Châteauroux-Déols, to the participants, to our team of chefs and volunteers as well as wishes of good recovery to members excused for health reasons or hospitalized, the participants enjoyed an excellent meal prepared by our volunteer cooks. It worth pointing out the delicious dessert prepared by two of our members, Sophie and Frédéric Joseph, Pastry Baker at Chezal-Benoit.
