Continuing their travelling exhibition, “Les Amis de La Martinerie” met, at the request of the entertainment team, at the Château des Côtes nursing home in Saint-Gaultier.
Welcomed by Gaêlle, Dominique, Jean-Jacques, and Philippe, they installed the thirty or so panels recalling both the exisisting and ancient barracks in the Indre department.
This exhibition provided an opportunity for many residents to share their memories with our volunteers, particularly Philippe, who was present on Tuesday afternoon to answer visitors' questions. The exhibition opening took place in the presence of the establishment's management team, Ms. Lydie Lacou, Departmental Councilor, Mr. Schmitt, Deputy Mayor representing the municipality, and Jean-Marie Misraki and Jackie Lamoureux, representing the Society of Members of the Legion of Honor of the Indre department, a partner of “Les Amis de La Martinerie”.
