La Martinerie

On Tuesday, April 28, along with Clémence, Dominique, and Roland, we had the pleasure of welcoming around thirty members of the UNC Committee from Veigné (located south of Tours and near Montbazon). It is a dynamic committee that learned about us through word of mouth spread by previous visitors to our museum.

After a meal at the “L’Escale” restaurant, our visitors went on to tour the Château de la Roche-Posay.

A first for us during this visit: Clémence, a student who recently began an internship with the “Amis de la Martinerie”, efficiently and expertly led the entire tour for one of the groups.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming the coach driver, a veteran of the 517th Transport Regiment.
