Saturday October 2nd, 2021, 40 years after their enlistment, seventeen EVSO (Engagé Volontaire Sous-Officier – commissioned officers trainees) from the Adjudant-Chef CAZAUX class, FRINGANT section (“The whites”) met at “les Amis de La Martinerie” for a short reunion, in presence of their former section commander, Captain Luc Fringant, now Prince Albert of Monaco’s first aide-de-camp, and their former unit commander, Captain Jean-Jacques Bérenguier.
After a visit of the “maison départementale de la mémoire militaire”, with a long stop at the picture of their graduation ceremony in Valencay, they visited the 11th company’s buildings and were surprised by the renovation of building 51 and building 50’s excellent shape.
After a short march in formation (and to cadence) toward the “Amis de La Martinerie”’s building for a well-deserved cocktail, all the participants shared a meal during which, a lot of memories were exchanged.
