Officials from the city of Montierchaume visiting “La Martinerie”

On Saturday, October 20, 2021, responding to the invitation made by the president of “Les Amis de La Martinerie” during the donation ceremony of the 1830s rifles, Michel Lenglet, mayor of Montierchaume, along with representatives of the city council, came to visit “La maison départementale de la mémoire militaire” on the “La Martinerie” base.

This visit was the perfect occasion for Frédéric to present the results of his research on the american camp installed in Montierchaume between 1917 and 1919.

As a follow up to this visit, an exhibition will be organized soon in Montierchaume.
