Another donation to “les Amis de La Martinerie”

On Wednesday, December 1st, we received the visit of Mrs. Monique Sicault, daughter of Adjutant Louis Laude, who came to give us his brother’s decorations, as a supplement to the uniforms we received from Yvette Langlois, Louis Laude’s second daughter.

A little bit of sewing by Marie, one of our volunteers, and our uniform is now almost complete; the only missing part being the cover.

As a reminder, the adjutant Louis Laude was affected to the 14ème RTA (Régiment de Tirailleurs Algériens), in Châteauroux on May 1st ,1934 as Chief Sergeant (Coming from the "1er régiment de Zouaves", which explains the presence of the “bolero”, the traditional uniform of the Spahis) and was promoted to Adjutant on April 1st, 1937.

Thanks again for this donation, which is an evident mark of trust in our association.
